Your hosts are Robert & Dee Hornyold-Strickland. The Stricklands

Robert was brought up in a National Trust property in the Lake District and delights in entertaining guests in his family home. He retains a deep love of the English countryside but has also travelled extensively overseas. He recently retired from a successful business career to pursue his artistic interests and has established himself as a talented figurative sculptor and painter. He also is a keen photographer. Robert's three children are Francis, Rollo and Zoe.

Dee's family come from the Hebrides but she was brought up in the Middle East and speaks excellent arabic and french.  She is a passionate cook and is known for her scrumptious rhubarb & ginger compote which she serves with natural yoghurt at breakfast. During your stay at The Grove, you will feel as if you are in  "a home away from home".
